Telerik SiteFinity 3.7 Online Training

Introduction

Learn the Telerik Sitefinity Content Management System (CMS) from the ground up. This instructor-led course is conducted over two days, four hours each day via GotoWebinar where attendees can see the trainer's desktop and listen to audio via phone or VOIP. Also included in the course materials are instructions and steps to assist your IT administrator in setting up your Sitefinity installation and Sitefinity project.

The course features real-world based training on Sitefinity installation and deployment, features and concepts, the Sitefinity Workspace, web site projects, page templates, page themes, web pages, controls, file manager, modules, services, users/roles/permissions, multilingual content management, caching, medium trust support, the project database, working with the application web.config file and configuring IIS. Learn troubleshooting techniques, tips and tricks.

Class runs from 9:00 am PST to 1:00 pm PST for 2 days.

Pre-requisites

You should take this training if:

You are a web site administrator or user with basic programming knowledge responsible for the installation and setup of new Web site projects, configuration and management of users, roles, permissions and migration of Web site projects from development to production server.

You are a web designer responsible for the graphic design, page layout and structure of Web site projects.

You are a web developer who intends to use the default Sitefinity functionality.

What you need for the class

For this training attendees will need either an installed copy of Sitefinity on which they have administrative access or a Windows PC with IIS installed where they have rights to download, install and configure a new copy of Sitefinity. Installation and configuration of IIS and Sitefinity will be covered at the beginning of the class.
